If you are an ACT resident, including those on temporary visas, you can access free surgical or medical abortion and contraception services at the time of abortion. These services are fully funded by the ACT Government. You can book an appointment online or call us on 1300 003 707. If you are from NSW, you may be able to utilise private health insurance. If you are in financial hardship, call our contact centre and we may have funding options available for you.
*Canberra clinics cannot process Private Health Insurance claims. You will have to pay in full on the day and manually claim it through your provider afterwards.
